That was a real Pentecostal service he attended.
Everything in the movie was a real jackass style stunt with real people.
Even the nude chase and fight in the hotel, which almost got them all arrested.
100% accurate.
It was taken, after all, candidly.
I haven’t seen the movie, but your question peaked my interest so I looked up the clip on youtube. I am not a pentecostal, but what I saw does line up with my experience and knowledge of the pentecostal denomination in general. That being said, I don’t believe that all pentecostal churches are like that, but I also don’t think that is a one off either.
Very authentic. Been to many myself. Seen some wild things.
