@tomik524 It sounds Soviet on purpose. Kazakhstan used to be a Soviet territory. This national anthem is just playing off of that.

actually, i’m from one of the countries that were in soviet bloc – the czech republic (former czechoslovakia, separated in 1993). i just said it, because the idea of such an eastern tune being a national anthem of the US made me laugh
